HTC 10 Users, are you happy?

Not nearly as happy as I was with my m8. Battery life is mediocre, Wi-Fi range is horrible, and the screen isn't nearly as crisp. Truly wish I had waited for the nexus.

I forgot to mention the WiFi range. The Z is much better.

Battery life is great on HTC 10 if you know what you are doing (PnP tweak that gives me 5+ SOT time and 1-2% overnight drain (9-10 hours)) and not downloading +50 unneeded bloat apps.

Screen is very good for a LCD, no issues here.
Wifi range is a bit worse than on other phones, but it`s not too serious (my wifi connection does not drop or similar) and it`s probably a software issue that is also present in the upcoming Android N for some reason on other phones too.

I get around 3,5 to 4 hours SOT and 3 hours of phone calls. Without the phone calls then my SOT is around 4,5 hours. I am happy with the battery life, but of course it would be even better if the HTC 10 lasted two full days. I have to charge every night. At least, it is better than on my Nexus 6P..

Charging every night is a problem? Better to start out every day with a full tank IMO. I live in the mountains and people are always needing to be rescued. Biggest thing I hear is "my phone died". Always start every day with a full charge.

Daily problem with my wife's phone.

Have it for a few days. I am happy, some small issues that i am not used to due to previous phone and some heavier issues that are relevant and where there is no real fix.

My 3 major issues are wifi problems at times, screen too dim, especially outdoor or even worse sunlight and the speakers are not loud enough.

The performance is excellent though, super fast and flying. Battery is a beast too for me. Build quality and look superb. Overall happy, but could be unbeatable without the 3 aforementioned issues.

When outside, turn automatic brightness on, you'll have more than enough brightness, try it... One "problem" solved...

Thanks, will try it out. I keep my brightness normally set on a level, since i dont need much indoor. I also thought automatic brightness is better for battery life? (I mean generally speaking if you keep it on all the time, since it gives more brightness than you would need often)

Love the phone but must admit, loved it much more before the last update (Sprint, stock). I can't seem to connect to bluetooth headphones like I used to. Tried unpairing, and re-pairing, but won't do the latter as the bluetooth times out on its own when scanning. It's very frustrating. Other than that, I still love the phone very much.

i love my HTC 10.
This phone show the premium feel and quality without ****ty features. No regret buying HTC again this year.
Only one thing that i didn't like, the minimum brightness level is still to bright on dark room, not comfortable to reading at night. But the rest is awesome, loved it!
Still not found any issue at this time, hopefully there is no issue. well done HTC.

I dont have bluetooth headphone, but connecting my Garmin Vivosmart is good, no problem at all. and also the wifi issue that most people mention it, i didn't find that issue. the only issue only slower 4G connection (compared to my old phones), i think because the basic band and radio.
My 10 is from Taiwan.

I did a lot of research on the 10 when it came out and shortly thereafter. It's a stellar device. And they made sure to up their camera experience... I think they called it a "world class camera," or something along those lines.

It's a very good device that, yes, is underrated but stands among the other flagships, in my opinion.

The thing I don't like about htc 10 is there is no File Manager and Gallery + the front camera in snapchat is always blurred.

There is a file manager just no quick way of getting to it... photos is the gallery, u don't have to use the backup service and it will function just like a normal gallery.

I can't explain why your snapchat is blurry but i've seen other ppl say that too but mine isn't blurry

Well what is the way of getting to the file manager?

Do you mean the HTC one you can get on Google Play?

Why did they remove it anyway?

I'm very happy with the 10. I've had the m7 and the m8, and this phone is easily the best that htc has made.
I still love my M8 but I'm debating if I should upgrade. In your opinion, what are the main advantages and disadvantages between the two?
Cheers

This is my fear. Iove my M8, have it since launch, but I'm debating if I should upgrade to the 10. Maybe I should wait for the Pixel reviews. ;)
