I have this issue too and it is very disappointing. I haven't exposed my phone to heat either.

I've lost the "C" on the back of my phone. Like above - makes me tempted to just peel off the "H" and "T" so it at least is uniform.

I was quite shocked that they come off.

Where are the pictures??? Usually when someone has a problem cosmetically they try to show what happened. Just saying it doesn't make it fact

One of the first reports had two pictures when I saw it. My suggestion is to clean the pits extensively and then float some compound into them with a syringe. Make your own letter accents.

This happened to me on the original EVO. They changed the design for the EVO LTE so I didn't have a problem there. It's disappointing HTC went back to using shoddy glue again with the M8.

I've had my M8 close to 2 months with a lot of use sliding it in and out of pocket with no case and the HTC logo on the back is as bold as the day I unboxed it.

This happened to the M7 too. It's due to using a cheap glue for the letters instead of engraving them.

I would probably want to take all the letters out and get it clean from glue or anything and i bet it would look good.

Mine started peeling off today as well. I contacted htc via chat and they told me it wasnt a common issue and they couldnt do anything. But it looks to be like one... kinda ticked..

I'm considering removing all of mine and just leaving them out. I sort of like the engraved look better anyway. I'll likely be using the dot view case soon, though, so it doesn't matter too much.

First camera lense is scratchable by feathers. Almost.

Now the C fell off.

I come from an iPhone 5. Which was perfect since launch day.

I didn't know they peeled off either.. though it would be pretty cool to leave them out, get something like this > Performix® Plasti-Dip Multipurpose Rubber Coating - Specialty Paints - Ace Hardware and filled the gaps. Red or blue would be pretty sweet in there I think.

If I get this phone, I'd be half tempted to purposely peel the letters off to do just that even if they aren't peeling on their own. Only question is how well it'd stay in place.

I guess if its prepped good it would never come off.. just pick a color you really like.

This just happened to me yesterday when I was on a bus, and I lost the letter cause obviously the space wasn't ideal to look for it.

Do they at least sell a replacement sticker? this damn glue is just ugh.... freaking me out

Aaand as you can see the "T" looks like it's on the way there.. lol

I'm not in the US, so ya it's gonna be all fun to send it back, so if anyone knows some workaround would be great.
