HTC Desire 626 Froze and will not turn on, despite hard reset attempts

Today at my class my phone shut off randomly, something that happens when I connect to the school's wifi (common almost every day) The phone flashed the ATAT logo alongside the HTC logo afterwards. However, my lock screen showed up... with no labels.

I have attempted to turn it off, the screen has stayed dim for hours and will not respond, I attempted a vol + power reset. It has been frozen for three hours. Please help me, I will provide extra info upon request. I really need a phone for finals week!

Welcome to Android Central! To force a shutdown on a phone that doesn't have a removable battery, press and hold Power for about 15-20 seconds.
