HTC Desire ROM

Haha I wish I could. Too poor for that, so I'll have to wait for ZeusDroid to finish their work.

Oh well, I'll keep being entertained by the revisions of Cyanogenmod.

I'm. Not rich but I buy nothing for myself and my perk is a phone occasionally I can afford the few extra dollars a month one of my lines expire in like 6 months anyway. Won't be renewing that one

Makes sense. That's what I plan to be doing soon. Just, as a grad student, my pennies are pinched.

Regardless of, that'd be pretty sick to get the Incredible. Hopefully they can root that asap.

Well the new ril was a bust don't know what their going to do moving ahead. We haven't been told anything but that

The ril basically is the link between hardware and software tells the phone to drop 3g for calls etc, or that's what I think it is. But Jake is currently recompling it he thinks he has fixed it. If he did we will see a beta tonight or tomorrow

I have feeling that is a ton of coding alone. If that is fixed then ill definitely give it a shot. That's the only thing holding me back currently

Yeah, me too. I'm really anxious about it, however. I would love to have Sense on my phone. Getting tired of having pretty much the same look through every ROM.

Think I may give it another try. Not sure if I had a botched install or what the first time around, but wifi seemed to be on the fritz. Sometimes I could turn it on, but I couldn't turn it off. Other times it'd just say unable to start wifi when I tried to turn it on. I'm fairly happy with CM 5.0.6 and the Smoked-Glass-Esque theme but SenseUI is just too appealing to me.

It's done their will be a release very soon with fully working calls and sms will post a link when released

wait. everything works on it. no turning off 3g to make calls? wifi doesn't reboot phone when turned off? if this is all true then im F'n psyched

I think WiFi works not sure but the phone works. And WiFi wouldn't turn on or off if you turned it off. So you had to reboot to turn it on. Still don't know about airplane mode. Know that had a bug.

wifi isn't too much of an issue because if i leave it on there arne't many things that it will hurt aside from the battery a little bit. airplane mode is minor as well because you can just shut your phone off if you are in an area that you cant have it one. the only thing that i im hoping is 100% or atleast close to that is the phone and 3g. if im online and get an important call that i need to answer, i won't know about it. out of curiousity, when installing this do we use clockwork recovery or SPRecovery. or does it not matter, i have been noticing Koush's recovery seems to almost exactly like SP but then again i dont know too much about either of them except how to back up and install

That's close enough for me. I'll just turn the phone off instead of airplane mode. I hope wifi works, but not a dealbreaker for me. As long as the phone is all good, that's awesome.

Can't wait for the link!

I think we use nandroid (bizz mentioned something about it way ago), so you can use either clockwork or SPRecovery. Not certain, however.

It's been spr but I like clockwork more has the option to format everything built in. And unless fixed never ever touch airplane mode will lock you o.ut and you will have to restore the rom
