HTC Desire ROM

By the way I installed this on my wifes phone and that took me a little longer then I went back and did it on my phone and it only took like 5 minutes.

Once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze. And yeah, having the dual boot CM and ZeusDroid option is nice. Haven't had to revert back yet though.

yeah, it's a little annoying that they kept claiming that the RIL was almost done and then now it doesn't really seem to be any closer than a couple weeks ago. I may go buy the Incredible just for the heck of it since I have a spare line to be able to play with a device with native SenseUI support.

The only thing hats stopping me from buying an incredible is that it doesn't look like a serious device. It looks like a toy. The next phone I get will be a beast!!! Haha

I wish I could port the evo over to Verizon for that reason alone it looks and most likely is a beast

Ya but I def think that 4G is going to be unnecessary for a while. Im still waiting for the Droid 2

Don't really see the Droid 2 being much higher specd than what.we have. I care less for the 4g I want the other specs

What's coming I don't know but here is the latest from Boostd
wait for the surprise!!! should be here by the weekend possibly

Haha that would be amazing if the ril is finished but at this point my expectations are low. We will see though.

Yep we will see I expect nothing nor do I hope for it. Just tired of waiting really looking at the incredible

I have to say after playing with this rom for a day or so I really like it. I hated the old version of sense ui but this one just seems smooth and so many great features.

I am impressed hopefully they can get 3g working.

It's a very good Rom and other than the stated bugs its pretty bug free. But the wait for the ril is an agonizing one oh well ill keep it until something better comes out or I get an incredible.(that's going to be hard convincing my wife to let me get another toy)

ha, went and had round 2 with the Incredible today. Played around with it for about an hour this time. I had a couple of the reps impressed at how well Sense ran on the Droid. Both were fast and smooth. The only real difference other than weight is the camera, and even though the camera is damn good on the Incredible, I'm having a hard time talking myself into dumping the $200 on it just for native SenseUI and a better camera.

I think on going to need to play with the desire I like the design more than the Droid. I don't see it as a huge upgrade but its a phone i would love to use. Plus I want to keep the Droid in preparation for 2.2 I'm just somewhat tired of my Droid plus it feels like half of my phone is. Loose don't want to deal with slider issues again (previous phone was a pre)

just because the incredible camera is 8mp dont mean its better..goto phonearena.com to see a good comparison between droid and incredible..they take pics with both and i personally think the droid has a better camera..sense UI i could careless about

The camera is definitely better. Virtually no shutter lag and the pictures i took today came out a lot better than my droid.

i havent messed with the incredible in person but just saying in my opinion droid pics look better from the phone arena comparison

Bizznot you too. First DA now you. This is gonna be a ghost town haha. Somebody I work with got the incredible and it was faster but idk, it lacked some aesthetic. It just isn't the Droid. I like sense but I only want it if I'm able to dualboot. I'm hoping Verizon gets the next nexus 2 this way we don't have to wait for updates like we do with the Droid. That would make my day.
