OK, here's a new one.
I have 2 email accts, Google and Yahoo.
When I get a Yahoo mail, and open it up, the words in the body disappear. The email is still there, but no words.
When you back out to the list view, all you see is the subject line, not the first words.
Google emails are OK.

well, now my phone thinks that its in Stuttgart Germany or Champaign, IL. It's actually in the Denver, CO area.

I have a bunch

1) I have noticed, while using an extended battery, that when the phone is in an idle mode, I'll hit the power button to wake it up. nothing happens. I hit it again, it finally responds to what I guess is the first button press, then sees the 2nd and turns off again, and then resets.

I have to be very patient when waking the phone from an idle , a few stray button presses will cause the phone to reset.

2) It seems super slow of late--screen scrolling, even responding to screen presses on the icons are slow, animations slow. No clue.

This is a fairly recent event--could a new app be causing it? I don't think I have anything too fancy.

3) I am sure I have more, its just that its just not as smooth as it used to be. I have rebooted the phone many times with power on/power off but not done a factory reset. I would hate to have to do that.

Nine out of ten times these issues you are describing are caused by an application. Even if you take the phone in for repairs - the first step to troubleshooting any device (by a technician) is to reset the device. This will eliminate all corrupt application(s) that is on the device.

I just got yet another 'brand new EVO 3d' phone. My problem is I'm not able to take a screenshot - the Android version is 2.3.3 - and my other phone has version is 2.3.4, could this be the reason why I'm not able to take a screenshot? Does anyone have Android version 2.3.3 and is able to take a screenshot? Is "rooting" the only way of getting my phone to take a screenshot? What happen to Android version 2.3.4.? :-\

Sorry to ask the obvious, but have you tried to update? I'm new to the 3D, but I believe there was a system update that included 2.3.4 and the ability to take screenshots by pressing home and power. Your version should be 2.08.651.3.

This is a issue that Sprint is aware of don't know of its theirs or Yahoo. Solution install the Yahoo email app works great.

Sorry to ask the obvious, but have you tried to update? I'm new to the 3D, but I believe there was a system update that included 2.3.4 and the ability to take screenshots by pressing home and power. Your version should be 2.08.651.3.

The phone says, I'm using the current software version. The version you posted I don't have. Mine is 1.13.651.7.

Try Settings > System Update > HTC software update. A common mistake that I used to do is check for an update under "Firmware Update" when it's actually HTC software update, maybe that's what you did?

I did check the "HTC software updates" - the same message comes up all the time ? "No software updates are available at this time - your phone is currently up-to-date." I have called Sprint about this matter, and was told to take it to a Sprint cooperate store for them to manually update the device. The only problem is, the stores all say they can't flash an update to a device - and that customer care should stop telling customers that the store can flash updates to phones..The software number version on my device is from way back in June. The latest and recent update was in Nov of this year - and It's strange how a brand new phone doesn't have the latest software version on it. :'(

Are you connected to a airave when this happens? Mine also says Germany and I'm in va. Only does this when I'm in my house using my airave.

I hate having to choose a player when I only have the HTC Player that is built in to view or play my videos. Does anyone know how to remove that feature without having to root?

Dear all,

My touchscreen is giving me problems. When I play 9mm hd, or modern combat 3, the touchscreen is not recognizing the fact my hand is pressed and held on the screen. This makes it impossible to play these games because I can't move or aim very well. Im also having trouble typing as there are many instances where I press a key and it does not register. Anyone know how i can fix this?

While i'm browsing my 3D pics ... after opening a pic i see multiple black lines at bottom of my screen those lines length is 2cm then when i change to another pic those lines disappear and even after going back to the first pic i opened ...... so is this a software or hardware issue ???

i'm I supposed to go to warranty ???

Mine does not, I have had no real issues with this phone and I have had it since day one.

Bought a used 3d off ebay and what do ya know. The screen is wacky. LUCKILY, when switching my plan from my iPhone it let me add insurance. Sooo, looks like I'm heading to the Sprint store Monday. Haha.

My phone start acting strange since the recent update. It would just flip back to the home-screen while I'm on a webpage. No restart or anything. Very strange. I guess I will have to do a reset to see if this will fix the problem. Damn.

Lucky to say that I am not having any issues with mine. I hard reset my phone every so often though.
