Yesterday, I turned on the camera and I have green lines running all the way across the screen (3D and 2D mode) And it happens with the front facing cam, too.

Any ideas?

I had this exact thing happen for the first time a couple days ago, too. I restarted the phone and all is fine since.

When using headphones, I can hear noises whenever the sense animations move, scrolling home screens, when the widgets move , and even when i scroll up/down in the browser, also, there is this static hissing sound that turns on when audio is about to play or just finished, is this normal ?

Minor issue but with Wifi on and then turning the phone off, when turning it back on the Wifi indicator on the bar shows only the dot at the bottom, no bars above. The Wifi appears to be good and works it just does not display the bars, until you turn off the wifi and back on it is displaying correctly.

God I hate this phone. Just spent the past 10 minutes banging out a nicely worded paragraph of issues I'm having with my newly replaced device just to have the device screw up on me yet again and lose all my work. I wish I had never purchased this device and now I'm stuck with it. I'm sorry I did love the device but I can tolerate these issues no longer. Sense constantly reboots, parts of the screen become unresponsive, and the browser just seems to do whatever it wants switching from mobile to desktop view as it sees fit and constantly logging me out of any web pages that I sign in to. My sprint tech at my local store seems to think I'm making this stuff up as she hasn't had anyone else coming in complaining of issues with their 3vo. I think this is my fault in part because I did inquire about my options as far as changing phones should I continue to have problems with my device. I loved this phone got it on launch day just like og evo. But I've never had the issues i've had with this phone with my og evo. Not sure what to do any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Alright, this is bloody infuriating. In multiple applications like eBay apps, the general search from touch search button on front and most everywhere else aside from texts... Auto fill predict whatever, ACK

If I search for or want to enter. "EVO 3D"

Then I eat a chicken sandwich.

Now I want to search for or enter "EVO"

"EVO" is shown, i typed it. The offering of a green blob of "EVO 3D" is there. NO. NO! I don't want 3d, I want to search for what I typed "EVO". I can't search for anything that is a shortened likeness of a past search or it's suggestion.


Someone please tell me it's a glitch in the Matrix.

It is normal. Not sure what component is causing this directly but yes. Also note that having a non LIVE wallpaper will stop the sound at that time, I was just checking that out. What was a constant is now after going standard wallpaper only on an action.

It's not clicky but there should be a small amount of almost...almost.... ahh theres the little tick over into depressed. Try removing the back plate and just reattach ensuring that the power button corner is put down on the phone as if the button were being lowered on, and then just depressing the other sides.

If there is no change I'd go to sprint and ask to hold theirs.

Spoke to sprint tech all issues I have are confirmed to be known issues caused by the most recent software update and that htc should be releasing a patch in the near future. Feeling much better now about my decision to purchase the 3vo as long as this patch comes soon and resolved these issues of course.

Hey Everyone!

As some of us are having some minor (and even some major) issues with their new EVO3D's, I thought this would be a nice place for a one-stop shop if you will to talk about them. So fire away!

I just bought a new MicroSDHC 16GB C10 card to upgrade the C4 8GB in my EVO 3D and what ya know, the card isn't recognized. So, does anyone know if there's a class limit, since we all know there's a size limit (32GB max) on what the EVO3D will recognize? By the way, it's a PNY 16GB microSDHC Class 10 card I bought from BestBuy today. Thanks, any help would be much appreciated and if someone has already asked this question then I apologize as I didn't have time to scroll through the countless pages in this thread.

Sense is crashing like crazy today. 3 weekends ago I ended up doing a factory reset because the phone crashed and kept on getting stuck on the sprint splash screen.

Hopefully it doesn't end up to that problem, but it started just like this, today; with sense constantly crashing and it restarts.

Went to class at 10am, got out at 11. turned on my phone and was working fine. didn't notice it doing any sort of update or anything all day. Suddenly after lunch the phone just restarts... ever since, something is causing sense to crash constantly. It happened just about a dozen of times now.

Didn't install anything or changed anything today. nor did I ever hit the update button ever since the factory reset 3 weeks ago. Been working perfectly fine until earlier today.

Anyone else having this issue all of a sudden?

Spoke too soon. 3 weeks later crashed again. Today, once again, on a saturday; what a coincidence, phone got stuck on the sprint splash screen. Had to do a factory reset. Although this time I had a back up app that backed up a list of installed my apps. So after the reset, market just redownloaded everything.

Just the fact that I had to do another reset is starting to get irritating. Not sure what is causing this... Hmm..

Just had a new issue start with mine. Every time I touch the top of the screen it opens the home screen thumbnails, as if I had another finger on the screen. It happens when trying to long press emails also, but starts to scroll.

I have no idea what's causing the problem. Has anyone else seen this?

When using swype to draft a message, the message is always interrupted when notification of a new SMS comes in. In many cases, it will automatically revert to the top of the message thread, forcing me to scroll back down to where I'm drafting again. Very frustrating when I'm in the middle of a message.

I've been going through the same thing lately and haven't found a solution yet. I'm sorry to say that I am jumping ship.

Between this problem and the Screen thinking I'm pressing every button except the one I want, it's getting ridiculous. Also the 3D video's not showing up in 3D (I know there is a 2D/3D Toggle if you press the menu button) as well as the low volume of the speaker, the Terrible Connection problems, and bad camera quality I can't use the phone the way it's meant to be used. I've tried hard resets and it keeps having the same problems. It is a shame as this phone is an amazing phone. Just too many little problems that add up to a major annoyance.

I've even tried rooting it and installing new roms. Still having problems. I put it on craigslist today.

i had a problem, with the sd card when switching over and my evo wouldnt turn on because of it and i thought it was broke so i just thought i would let anyone whos having the same problem just remove the sd card and get a new one simple fix

Day 1 Evo 3D owner and lately my battery life had gotten bad, real bad.
I have always followed all the basic tips, no GPS, screen brightness near low, etc and lately, it drops faster than a rock off a clip, like 97% to 44% in less than four hours with barely any use.
I've checked running apps and all that's running are the Sense apps.
Any ideas?

My EVO 3D started having a couple issues recently. Both will randomly happen from time to time, I haven't noticed anything causing either one.

My media sound volume will sometimes mute itself, and when I try to increase the volume it will refuse to change. I can manually go into the sound profile under settings to increase the volume, but it will instantly go back down to zero volume. The only way I've found to fix it is to reboot the phone. This only happens on average a couple times per month.

The second issue is that when I leave my wireless on while at home or at work it will usually connect fine, but every once in awhile it will say it has a perfect signal and is connected but nothing will transmit. I have to turn off the wireless and turn it back on for it to work again. This usually happens once per day, more or less depending on how often I use my phone on a wifi connection.

U need to download mobo task killer from the market and this helps kill apps that run in the background.It significantly helped with my battery life and i got an 3500 mah extended battery with back cover for 20 bucks on Ebay. Check it out because the regular Evo 3D battery will not last very long. Good Luck
