Best device ever so far. I'm new to android and really enjoying it. Is anyone else having bluetooth connectivity issues? My jawbone icon won't stay connected and people say they have a hard time hearing me. Worked fine on previous phone (pre). Any suggestions on a setting change or other fix?

When you save it to that list it only saves it to your youtube account...He wants to actually download the video and save it on his phone...The APK I posted earlier is for TubeMate and it actually allows to to download directly to the phone...I made sure that it worked before I posted it...

Thought Tubemate was a overlay to the EVO 3D youtube app.
Ran it directly and was able to do the save as and saved to my sd card.

The HTC watch app has 3d movies you can buy or rent

My battery life has not been even up to the same level that I had with the EVO. So far I am surprised after all the reviews I read before buying the EVO that said that the EVO 3D would have better battery life. Well mine does not, it is horrible and I thought the EVO was bad this one is way worse.

Same here, it's a shame because I love this phone. I'm gonna give it a few more days then maybe return it for another one or at least let Sprint look at it. My results are nowhere near what other people are getting as far as battery life.

Anyone been able to find the htc news and weather widget that was on the evo 4g?

Was looking for this also.
Can't get alarm clock plus to speak the weather without it.

Have you checked out the option "Browse all HTC widgets" when you long press on the home screen then its the 2nd option down that has the HTC icon , theres 80 to choose from and news and weather are there.

If you go into settings>applications>development>then check stay awake. Then when it's plugged in, it won't fall asleep.

Garrett, consider yourself thanked multiple times in the most vociferous terms! I looked at the same place on my 4G and that field isn't checked at all, yet that screen never goes off when it's plugged in. In any event, now the 3D is acting like the 4G in that respect and my sanity is restored. Thank you!

i dunno what happened while i was texting, the phone just restarted for no apparent reason.
fully charged phone overnight, made only one 5 min phone call for entire day, nothing running but mobile app for my text, everything else off, battery was down to 9 percent at the end of my work day... i did take the phone on and off ocassionally, watching the battery status drop

Duh, saw it before but was looking in the different widget HTC HUB.
Saw weather and news separate but not sure which one to use with ACP.
Tried putting the weather widget on one of my pages but still no weather in ACP.
Any ideas?

Really tested the phone today , Battery life was good , unhook from charger at 5:45am 99% and now its 4:04 PM and it has 49%, call quailty was good , but the phone would drop everyone I talk to after 8 to 10 minutes into the call, there was no drop call on the screen on no singal , still had 3 to 4 bars , I hope there is a fix for this or am I the only one ?

I am unable to save email attachments in the stock email app. I have been sent a jpeg and after its done downloading, when I long press, nothing happens.

with the og evo, I could long press on an attachment and the option to "save to sd card" was there.. i dont see it anymore

Go to gmail through the browser, it's a weird but that happens sometimes. You'll be able to save there.

Forgot to mention, I'm using AOL mail via stock email app.

I hope the next update fixes this.

Unlink the contact. In other words make 2 separate contacts for the person

Actually I created 2 separate contacts with the name I want to appear in the shortcut with only the phone number I want to quick dial. I then linked both of them to the main contact and it works perfectly. I can even have a different image show up on each.

Just seems like a lot of work to make this function properly

I love the phone. The Yahoo mail issue is driving me crazy, but it is also not working on my wife's Evo. Seems to be either a yahoo or a HTC problem. The Yahoo Mail app is a bandaid, but it sucks the life out of your battery.

Yesterday I began receiving text messages that I had voicemail waiting, but no VM icon was displaying on my phone. I dialed into voicemail and found I had several messages waiting. I called Sprint and after 45 minutes and getting bumped up to tech support we couldn't resolve the issue. I also tried a solution that I found that involved sending a short VM message to a special e-mail address that was meant to activate my visual voicemail account (even though my account worked fine on my 4G), and that didn't work. I decided to hard reset my 3D, and upon restart, I received a flood of voicemail messages

After reinstalling several apps the problem happened again today! To make a long story short, I traced the problem down to Handcent. I uninstalled Handcent and my Voicemails started to come in again. I've since reinstalled Handcent and the problem has not reoccurred.

I'm not sure if I am unknowingly tweaking a setting in Handcent that causes this issue, but I thought I'd let everyone know just in case they experience the same thing.

Man, I hope this doesn't happen again as I love Handcent!

Same issue here. It is annoying. I just hope it is fixed soon.
