I just picked up the blue Platinum Series case (apparently a rebadged Seidio Active case, including holster) at a local Best Buy today. Without a phone to put it in yet, it's hard to tell how it will work in practice, but the material has a nice touch and the back is felt-lined (as is the holster - phone goes face-in). Not sure if I'll end up using the holster much since I'm more of a pockets guy, but both seem pretty well-built.

I'll probably also get a car dock since I use my OG Evo for GPS a lot and I expect to keep doing so with the LTE. The one Sprint is selling looks adequate enough - according to the booklet ISN posted today, the part number is KPH6886V - although I really would prefer something closer to the more rugged and adjustable design of the Seidio car dock for the OG Evo.

What about arm bands? My current arm band barely fits the OG EVO and with the EVO LTE being slightly wider, I'm not sure it's going to fit. Of course I'm running a 5K on Saturday and didn't think of this sooner.

@Sweetz304 - My issue with that one is if you look at any of the other models for different phones, it's the same picture and the reviews say that it doesn't fit the phone they ordered it for.

ETA - I found this armband by iArmbands this morning. Measured out my PT case and it sounds like it's going to fit.

Thanks for that! I wasn't sure. I workout daily so I need something and this does look like it would fit nicely.

So lots of talk about cases which is good, and there's already a thread about the car holster, so no need to mention. However...

What about desktop docks, official HTC or otherwise? Battery may be bigger but it's always nice to be able to dock it when we can (at work, home etc).

Any word, sites, pics?

I went to the Otterbox myself, had the screen protector and didn't let the phone slide around...My active case let the phone slide around and made the corners on the phone rub down, I like the fact that this EVO has been protected by a Otterbox and looks brand new when I take it out. Hopefully they have one available soon after getting the phone

Otterbox already has one. I have the pink and white one on my phone. Got it at the Sprint store.

I got the Purple Case PT case from Best Buy last Thursday when I picked up my pre-ordered EVO 4G LTE phone. Wasn't going to get a case that night but it was PURPLE and my fav color. I called my local Sprint store on Memorial Day to see if the had the car dock in for the EVO 4G LTE and they did. So I rushed over and got one. I love it and it works great.
