HTC EVO 4G LTE Camera Shots: Lets see them here!

This forum made me realize Facebook is also doing the same thing when uploading pictures. Anyone know the best way to upload pictures to Facebook without losing a ton of quality?

There is a "High Quality" checkbox when uploading to FB. It will take a lot longer but they give you the option.

I've been uploading from my phone that's why I've never seen that option. Do you think I lose quality when I email myself the pictures vs downloading directly with USB?

Photo from today - Navy and Coast Guard are in Portland, Oregon. I love the Pano feature built in, better than any app I have downloaded. I have also liked the quality of the forward facing camera.

I own a DSLR - Canon rebel T1i but enjoy using this camera as it is always readily accessible when I need it. Like Phil, I put the Camera feature high up on the requirement for my phone. Right now I feel good about this phone and will not likely return it for the G3.

Testing drop box link feature above on my phone only the URL link seems to be working directly within my device but seems to keep quality excellent. :-)

The pictures posted just keep looking better and better. The way you upload makes such a huge diff.

Took a few shots today to compare HDR to non-HDR and just test out the camera in general. Here's what I got:

HDR

Lastly this is one I just took using the vintage warm filter :P

I feel like the non-HDR pictures are kind of soft and don't always have a focus really...where as HDR looks more crisp and focus, but little details like words or blades of grass/leaves get kind of blurred and hazy. What do you think?

That 2nd HDR shot you took looks great. Ya I've noticed HDR look good as long there is not words or people in the pictures. But I've been pretty happy with the Camera, def better then my s2. I just did showdown with one of my buddies who has iPhone..haha. We took 10 of the exact same shots from iPhone4s and Evo LTE and iPhone took nice pics but the Evo LTE won :) And him being Apple guy was hard for him to admit but he was like ok ya those do look better.

I believe that the phone's gorgeous screen actually shows the picture better. Did you compare those shots on PC? It could be slightly different story on PC but HTC Evo 4G LTE is no slouch for sure. Now I know that I need to shoot 4:3 format, I will have to do another set of HDR in 4:3 format and also turn the Sharpness all the way up for comparison.

Shadnic's HDR and non-HDR comparison is really interesting as well. I will probably stay with HDR mode most of the time to get more detail.

When you upload don't go directly through the forum or it destroys the quality.
