htc holiday rumored at&t device

I want this phone when I upgrade in December. Unfortunately, LTE is not available yet here where I live. Makes no sense for me to get this phone if, a) I'm just mostly gonna have it on WiFi and b) no LTE in Covington, TN till Prolly 2013. However, I've decided that I'm still getting this phone and am getting my wife one as well.

I live in CT, and I'm kind of expecting AT&T to get LTE in the Boston to Washington corridor fairly quickly. That's a LOT of people, all of whom want the best service possible. That's one of the reasons why I consider it worthwhile to go for the Raider.

AT&T said they were going to roll out LTE phones in Q4. My understanding is they are starting their push in Nov. I don't think they did it in Oct because they already had the 4s and the GS2 roll out. Why cause confusion. GS2 sales are already cooling as people realize this is a six month old phone with a few cool bits removed.

AT&T can't rely on 4s sales - supply is limited and will probably be limited for the next two months.

Also, when I went to buy a GS2 last week the suggestion was to wait a few weeks. My guess is somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd week of Nov. If not by then I doubt we will see anything before Q1. A Dec release is pretty much a waste - from mid Nov to Dec 25 you concentrate on selling in the US not doing product launches.

I would think they would want to get it out to us in time for the (LOL) Holiday rush. That inclines me to look for a release no later than the so-called Cyber Monday after US Thanksgiving. I hope so, anyway. I'm way past sick of being stuck on this Blackberry.

att mentions it on their web site. i cant wait till nov 6!!! the only thing that i will have a problem with i believe is that all of my music is in itunes.

Burn it to DVD, re-rip it to a standard folder on your computer, play it with whatever player suits you, and you can move it to your new Vivid at will. Looks like we can close these Holiday threads and move over to the Vivid page. At Long Last!!!
