HTC Incredible on VZ

Hey everyone, I know that I'm new here but this seems to be pretty big news. Take it for whats it worth, I just read on androidandme that the Incredible should be due out 4/29! I cant post links but you should be able to find it fairly easily. The title is Verizon set to launch an incredible device "really soon"- April 29th

Yes, exactly! Soon(verry soon as it shows), would be this week or next. Not the end of the month.

Yeah, it looks like end of the month. I am still debating rather I should get Pre Plus or wait for Incredible or just wait out til June to find out if Iphone is coming to Verizon. Alot of options.

So, one of the pictures on the front of this site shows the incredible due to hit Best Buy stores on the 29th. I would say dont be surprised if it comes out in Verizon stores/online before that date.

I say this because they list the Cosmos from LG to be due in their stores on 4/25, but it has been in my store(indirect) for going on 2 weeks now. On top of that it, the cosmos, was out by verizon before that date.

Just saying, the 29th sounds solid, but dont stop looking before than date.

I think that's what the mythical 25th of April seems to be about. I'll be holding out till the 29th but will certainly be glad to see it available before then for those that can't wait.

I still prefer Nexus One over Incredible. However, I've been waiting for too long, wish I just picked Droid when it came out. I will pick which ever come out first. However, on the paper, it looks like Incredible is better than Nexus One.

I'm with ya. I really wished the N1 would've come out before the INC. Don't get me wrong, it looks pretty f-ing sweet for all this hype time and waiting around, but dunno... The overall design (I know sounds stupid) and no Sense UI seems more appealing to me personally.

But, if the INC does drop the 25/29th/whenever, I'm going to be taking the day off from work and getting it! I can't wait any longer!!!

That's probably why I will get an incredible as far as specs its better than the n1 now let's hope the apps can be stored on the 8gb of internal memory

I'm with ya on the first available. N1 or Incredible...pretty much the same for me. I almost broke down to buy a droid yesterday just because I hate my 4 year old Samsung i-760. First phone available...I'm in.

I know ill be going with the Incredible. mainly for pricing reasons, i have got word from verizon that the N1 will be a full retail phone only. Now like i said this is just word from verizon, so take it for what its worth.

The phone looks sick, might be just the replacement for my DROID. I love the Android OS...funny how Apple now has to come out with a Multi-tasking OS after they started bleeding fanboys!

Only thing I don't like about the renders is the camera housing. It looks like it juts out a little too much and if you lay the phone down on it's back, it won't sit flat. I hope the housing winds up being a flushmount...guess we'll all see soon enough!

Whatever the release date, this phone is looking more and more attractive than the N1 at this point. If they'd released the N1 for verizon sooner, I'd already have one, but I think I'll take advantage of their laziness by buying what appears to be a superior phone. Looks like complaints about the N1 are only getting worse as it gets more popular too.
