HTC Incredible on VZ

Whatever the release date, this phone is looking more and more attractive than the N1 at this point. If they'd released the N1 for verizon sooner, I'd already have one, but I think I'll take advantage of their laziness by buying what appears to be a superior phone. Looks like complaints about the N1 are only getting worse as it gets more popular too.

yea the screen issues are starting to make me think twice about it as I'm getting ready to ditch AT&T and either go to VZ or Sprint but I gotta play with both the incredible and the EVO before making a decision.

Not to mention that if the pictures leaked are anywhere close to the final product, this is one badass looking phone. Blows the nexus 1 out of the water in my opinion.

It's been a while since ive been this excited about a new phone. I have a Nexus One and it's amazing, but AT&T sure kills a lot of it's greatness. Now, the incredible seems to be better on paper than the N1, and it's gonna be on Verizon, which will make this phone wayyyyyyyyy better than the nexus one!

I guess I'm gonna get in trouble here, but if I wasn't a heavy business user I wouldn't even think about it and would've switched my primary phone to an Android a long time ago.

Just thought I'd share: just got off the phone with Verizon and was given 4/29 in store release date by a rep.

In most cases the reps are repeating things they've found from forums like this

Once VZW announces it to their staff, we'll see all kinds of leaked screenshots, etc.

Yea, the reps are f-ed up. Both the local stores said 'I just hope it comes out soon' and that's it. Then our corporate work rep said last Monday it would come out Q3. Then I emailed her last Friday as to I hear the last week of April sounds pretty convincing and she emails back this morning "My Data Solutions Manager says there no additional updates he can provide". C'mon... pa-leeze..

I still have no idea why this is such the biggest hush hush thing ever for VZW. Just tell us the info/date and then at least the public knows the date they will buy lots and lots of phones. Keeping people in the dark has been the worst marketing VZW has done. Uhhhhh, just get sick and tired of it.

Well as a rep in a store we are not told anything at all on the launch of phones. We sit here and update our equipment guide page and hope that something new pops up. They never let us know and trust me i'm waiting for this phone to finally be in my equipment guide. I wish it would hurry up already.

it all depends alot of times they will give us a release date in the equipment guide that way we know when to expect it.
