These 2 phones should have sold extremely well. HTC, while not as big as Samsung, is still a very large company and has been around making phones for as long as I can remember.

They really need to kickstart their marketing division to promote these phones. Samsung has all these witty anti-iphone commercials.. where is the One X commercials?? I've seen one commercial for the One X..

For HTC to succeed, they need to pump more into marketing!!

HTC is relatively young compared to Samsung, Motorola, and LG when it comes to mobile phones.

Does HTC have the marketing budget to properly market the One X and One X+?

Hmm.. you sure? HTC made my first Windows Mobile phone like 7-8 years ago, it was the PPC-6700. They've been around for quite awhile.. As far as making phones I think they've been making phones as long as Samsung and surely longer than LG.

Seem's they do things like AMD does, no marketing budget, just release products, give sneak peaks to bloggers and let them market for them. You can see the difference marketing makes. Samsung+Intel is synonymous with HTC+AMD

They made smartphones running Windows Mobile back in the day but I Was referring to the mobile industry as a whole (regular phones too).

Plus, it really wasn't until Android came around that HTC started really marketing their own brand name.

Well the issue is its for one carrier in the us. If they did like Samsung and release on all carriers the. The one x would be heavily marketed

They're older than Apple in the mobile industry.

But Apple is a marketing machine.

Well doesn't that prove the point then to what the OP is talking about? lol

The only ones who walk into an AT&T store and ask where the HOX are are android nerds. You see Samsung, Apple, WP8 on the TV, catches peoples eyes, they go to the store and ask to see them. Most At&T employees didn't even know about the +. HTC sucks at positioning their devices.

Which goes back to my original reply...
