HTC One A9 pre order , shipping wait room

*UPDATE*

So I ordered the Deep Garnet color on OCT 26th. Got the email saying it would be delayed until early December.

Out of the blue on Nov 12th I get a call from HTC, which I missed but then listened to the voicemail and called them back.

They offered me two options:
1. Switch my preorder to an available color option with 2 day shipping available (silver or grey)
2. Wait it out, Garnet will ship on Wed Dec 2nd and likely arrive Friday Dec 4th based on my 2 day shipping speed I paid for.
---Also by waiting it out, they said they were going to give me a $100 coupon for any purchase on HTC.com. They said this code would be emailed to me around a week after I receive my shipment if I stuck with my original order.

I opted to wait it out and get a $100 coupon. I already own a nice Aukey QuickCharge 3.0 charger from Amazon (cheaper than HTC's offering), so I may pick up a case from them or wait until the new flagship in Spring with the Snapdragon 820 and pick that up for myself since this A9 was bought for my wife. Either way, I appreciated the gesture of $100 credit rather than some sad 25% discount. Has anybody else received a call from HTC with this information?

@onlyclarity - I have also gotten that phone call. Like you, I've decided to wait for the deep garnet. The phone really interested me but it was the color that got me to order. At this point, 2 more weeks is doable to have the phone in the color I really want. I missed the part about when the coupon would come. Thanks for clearing up for me.

Well, tomorrow is the 20th, the supposed day of shipping for the gold phone. I hope those that have ordered this color will post to let us know if HTC is living up to that date..

Just got an email from HTC. I guess what they told me before was wrong. Remember this is for deep garnet color since it was almost an entire month delayed.

No shipping informations yet on my topaz gold, a few poor grammered emails for HTC 3 day ago has me thinking they pushed it back to after Dec 2nd along with the garnet color. Here is the email, I tried to squeeze out another 25% discount from them as I used mine for a case before I knew it didnt ship with earbuds and also wanted the pro studio headphones.

I'm still waiting on my silver version. They told me the other day that it'd ship today and yet I haven't received an email from them. I ordered on November 1st.

I don't have my hopes up that it will come before December, their website does say will ship November20th but based on shipping method so maybe those who picked faster shipping had them sent out. I choose free shipping, and actually hope it comes after the 2nd I would love a $100 dollar coupon for either pro studio headphones a battery pack or discount off another phone for the wife (if she likes it) not much else to choose from since I already have the dot view case and an aukey quick charge 3.0.

Anyone get notifications yesterday or today for ANY color being shipped by HTC? I'm getting aggravated with them. I was told Friday, then definitely Monday, and when I called last night, I was to be shipped today, I even asked for a manager.

I'm really tempted to ask for a refund and tell J that he's getting a nexus 6p.

For anyone interested HTC is offering 40% off accessories. This may be US only, not sure. What is particularly good for those that have received the $100 coupon for waiting so long for the deep garnet phone, you can use it with the 40% off. It also looks like the $100 may be a one use only. It runs 11/28 until 9:00 PM PT in US.

Sort of bitter sweet that's a great deal but I've already used the old 25% code for a dot view and bought an aukey charger there isn't much left to get for the a9 ,plus they are making me wait a week after I receive my phone (whenever that is) to use the 100 coupon, hopefully by then they still have stock left of headphones

Just received my shipping order, just my luck the expected delivery date is 12/1 one day before I would qualify for the $100 coupon, so I had to go ahead and purchase the pro studio ear buds while they have this great deal today... Oh well just glad to finally get this phone !
