HTC One M10 design leaked in photo

What about the M9? They had battery and heat issues.

M9 is more relevant than M8.

Still want the biggest battery possible. I don't turn over phones every 8-12 months.

As long as the battery lasts all day it doesn't matter how big it is. Perhaps this phone is designed the way that it is so it is more comfortable to hold and use with one hand. I'm just ready to learn more about it and have it released.

Everyone knows the heat issues was because of Qualcomm. And the M9 had a bigger battery than the M8, but it's battery life was worse than the M8. Why does keeping a phone for a year matter regarding battery? You can't replace the battery unless you send the phone back so your point is pretty moot.

In my opinion if a company has to install a huge battery, their phone probably isn't that efficient in regard to the OS being coded or they have features that sick up a lot of battery.

If you followed my conversation with you, you would not be trying to blow off my battery requests as "moot".

And Ill agree, a lot has to do with coding. And M9 was not a good example of great efficiency.

Still want the biggest battery I can get as the assumption there is that the company has done a good job to get the most out of the battery/time. That should not have to be put into black and white text.

More renders and names of colours from Evleaks:

Top Right: Glacier Silver (white face)
Bottom Left (Glacial Silver (black face)
Bottom Right: Topaz Gold

I hope they add a few more colors like deep garnet, dark blue and maybe emerald green. I think those colors would look pretty good. And if they do, have them available on release day. I hate buying one color and find out later they come out with something else that I would rather have.

A new leaked pick or two today. The more I see it the more I like it. Just wish they would announce already.

I would think so especially after the debacle last year. You don't hand a phone out at MWC without the software the phone will ship with. That's just idiotic and suicidal for a company on the decline. You can't afford to make mistakes.

agreed. releasing it quickly isn't a priority, even if that means losng a few potential sales to Samsung and LG. They just need to release the best phone possible, and upgrade it when they say they will. It's looking great from what I've been reading, I just hope the camera lives up to the hype and it gets good battery life.

Looks great? Please pass me whatever you are smoking. This is the mullet of smart phones. The one thing they needed to keep from the M9 and they squashed it. For the sake of having a Sammy inspired fp reader. The X9 is 80% what they should have had for the 10 sans a better proc and fp reader on the back. The way it looks right now it doesn't know if it wants to emo Sammy on the front or Apple everywhere else. Unless Sense is some godsend this year. This phone is going to flop bigger than last year's M9.

At MCW the reviewers tore the M9 apart. It was dead on arrival and never had a pulse. I would think having a small bug or two is okay. But when your camera sucks for the third straight year, you deserve what is coming your way. HTC learned a hard lesson last year and they got a slap in the face of reality. Customers will not buy a phone with issues saying that you will fix at a later point no matter your track record. I wouldn't buy a tv or car on display that doesn't function properly. If you have the audacity to put something out on display that isn't ready for prime time then you risk losing customers.

I'm a professional photographer and own the HTC M8 and in my opinion the camera does not suck. It holds up very well in low light and takes decent enough photos otherwise. Anyone who thinks you need 20+ megapixels to have a good camera is a fool. Sure, I wish it had better resolution, but to be honest anyone who thinks you can take a picture with a phone at this point and print it big is in for a serious disappointment. If I want to take a photo for that purpose I will use my Canon. That said, I do hope they can improve their camera yet keep the ability to take good low light pictures. It never hurts to have a great camera, even if your just posting to Facebook.

Until a camera can consistently take shots of moving targets without being a blurry mess they are garbage. HTC can never get their focus right. If they don't get the camera right on the M10 they have zero chance of me buying. No more excuses for mediocrity. I may actually wait for the Nexus HTC as I want to give a bigger screen a look.

Clearly just a hater ... enjoy your ugly front branded phone, cause clearly you had no intention of ever buying an HTC for whatever reason ... and the front is all black with no branding, there's nothing not to like. The back will be covered with a case, and yes, Sense I'd a godsend.

I am waiting patiently for the M10 announcement and I hope that despite the leaks, that the boomsound speakers will be there. If not, then it is not a dealbreaker for me, but I would like to have them..Apart from that, I am sure that the design will be good, especially when we have the device in our hands..
I am currently using a Nexus 6P and I miss Blinkfeed and the Sense UI..If HTC also makes a great camera, then I am down.

The M8's camera was a good camera but it wasn't the best HTC could do by far.

First you say their camera sucks and now you say it was a good camera, which is it? I agree it needs to be better and last year was a disappointment. Let's hope it stacks up to the Samsung and Iphone, it needs to. I'm glad they've come back from the high megapixel madness and are focusing on issues that matter more. I like HTC sense much better than Samsung so if HTC gets it right this time I will be buying it.

Well, while we are all waiting for the HTC 10 I went ahead and got the T-Mobile BOGO for the SG7 Edge. I am not a big fan of TW but I will say so far I am impressed with the phone. The screen is great, camera is very nice, phone feels great and light in the hands and the build quality feels top notch too. I am hoping that the HTC 10 will draw me away from the SG7 edge, but if it doesn't then I will still feel like I have a great phone. My HTC One M8 was feeling its age of late.

I'll be selling one of the SG7 edge phones soon and hopefully the other one when the HTC 10 comes out :) Fingers crossed. BOGO was too good to refuse :)

I'm an HTC guy also, but like you got a S7 and I have to admit, the phone is awesome. Feels great in the hand, easy to use, amazing camera and photo options. Seriously debating on if I even want the M10 anymore. It'll have to be at the level of the S7 or a step up for me to switch.

We care about the S7 in this forum because? I won't be switching to Samsung tomorrow or in this lifetime. When Lebron James complains about a Samsung phone says a lot. He isn't the only person that has complained either. That's why I buy HTC phones and only Sony television sets.

Lebron James? He is a basketball player. Why does his opinion about a cell phone mean more than anyone else? If I want advice on PED's I will value his opinion.

I use many phones in a year. Very rarely I have used a single phone for a whole year. I sold the M9 because I went back to iOS for a while. Then I sold the iPhone 6S and went for a Nexus 6P. That doesn't make the M9 bad, or the iPhone, or...
To be absolutely honest, I miss my M9, but I want to wait for the M10 to see how good it will be.
The camera of the M9 was good, but not as good as on the iPhone or the Nexus. I still love its design much more than anything else out there. If the M9 had an AMOLED display, then I think I would still be using it. That was the main reason I went with other phones. But as I said, I change phones very often...

I probably didn't catch the sarcasm but LeBron James is a spokesman for Samsung. The PED joke was ok lol.

Any HTC audiophiles thinking of LG g5 with their 32bit add-on adaptor... I hope m10 has strong focus on audio otherwise it's LG for me...
