So i just bought my htc one m8 for a week and i experience some weird battery drain.

When the battery around 40-60% suddenly the phone just died without any notification and i can't turned it on. After i charge it and turn it on, the battery suddenly 1%.
It already happen for 4-5 times. When it do happen i open a camera app from htc and games (racing rivals).
To takes note, i already try doing this solution:
- Soft and hard reset (factory reset)
- Turn on extreme power saving mode at 20%
- Full charge and let it drain to 0%
- Install gsam battery monitor

Here some screenshot

Sounds like you might have a defect. I would take it back to your courier/store of purchase and get a replacement.

Yea, I would have it replaced or repaired. I'm sure they have some way to test the battery at HTC although if its a carrier phone they may just swap it in store for you.
