HTC one M8 Keyboard issues

I just got this phone because my moto x decided to die so far i like the phone but there is a nagging quirk that id like to troubleshoot. i fixed the Facebook msger Lagging issue with developer mode option. anyways Randomly my keyboard stops working and i have to reboot the phone. sometimes going into the text msger app it fixes it. sometime sit doesn't and it requires me to reboot it. yesterday it did it 4 times in a row than it was normal. is there a setting im overlooking that could fix this and pray that Marshmellow will fix this crap?

When my keyboard does not respond I just turn the screen off once or twice...no need to reboot...does the trick every time...

That actually worked.Thank you! I hope they fix this issue with android 6 update. Its irritating!

You're welcome...mine will do that here and there...much easier to deal with now that I learned the power button trick...
