If you have a "clean" setup, the only thing I can think of is signal strength - cellular or wifi. I have found that loading a bunch of seemingly harmless utilities or widgets is fine right up until it isn't. Schedulers, apps that take over notifications, widgets, etc in some combination always seem to have a big impact on performance and battery life. After the initial charge, I loaded alot of apps, setup Nova launcher, messaging, etc and after 2 days of alot of playing, it was 19% after 48 hours - best I've ever seen in a phone. Off the charger for 3 hours this morning, checked email 3-4 times, a couple txt's and brief browsing and I'm still at 99%.
