I ended up going with the M8 in the end. I stopped by Verizon to pick up an off contract M8 popped in a T-Mobile SIM changed the APN setting and everything seems to be working just fine. So far I'm really enjoying the phone. I definitely prefer the Sense UI over Touchwiz and the bloat on the phone seems very minimal compared to Samsung bloat.

Overall I'm very happy with the phone, this is a great device as I'm sure the S5 will be as well

I find the S5 shipping with a 16GB phone more of a problem than the M8 camera. Especially with the phones about the same price. What will the 32GB S5 cost? Given the M8 can max out at 160GB that's a big advantage.

Not going to argue or point out all the reasons people are wrong in choosing the S5 over the M8. People that actually do their homework between the two phones, you would know the M8 is a greater piece of hardware and software(you need to be extremely well sighted and anal for you to notice the difference in the quality of pictures between the two) by the way you can tell who owns and has used each phone extensively over those who just read an article and maybe stopped in at a store for 10 minutes. Go use both and check out all the features and you will leave with an M8.
