HTC One (M8) Photos & Videos Thread

Some pictures taken at the Italian car show near me today.
Had my first proper play with the Duo camera, it's obvious it needs some refining but was still fun to use.
As for the camera itself, Real problems with exposure (bright but cloudy day) but focus was lovely and fast and the video I recorded of the Lambos having a rev off with the Maserartis had epic sound!
That narrow street really echoed and the smell of hot Italian exotica engines and exhausts was a dream


Action shot - ufocus had some issues with this and needs some tweaking for this type of shot.


Some issues with the reflection in the window.


Love this car!


Love this car too and it's my favourite ufocus shot from the day!




A bit silly use for ufocus but I still like the shot, the front of the car looks great.

No one commented on this so I thought it was worth bringing it up. I can't believe what awful white-balance and color rendering the iphone delivers compared to the M8. The way the napkins and paper are a bad yellow vs being white on the M8, and the white wall and brown desk turn beige and orange on the ipone is really surprising. It also kills the blues. In fairness though, the M8 saturates blues a little. Great comparison.

I love that new Alpha and even though you're right, the focus is a little silly, it's exactly the kind of thing I love to do for sending pics to friends, on facebook, etc. People love it.

That reminds me, I need to try macro! I've posted around 10 close-ups and haven't even tried the macro yet! The phone handles so well in auto that I keep forgetting.

actually in my opinion this phone's camera handles macro and low light pictures better than any other phone
