HTC One random system sound notification

Not sure if anyone else has this issue or if I hadn't set something up right...

I cannot figure out what the little sound this phone is making all the time, haven't worked out the pattern yet. But it is really annoying as I can't seem to turn it off. I have tried numerous sound profile app, nothing works.

Also everything is untick in sound profile under 'system' but It still makes a noise when I unlock the phone.

It is a system sound because it is not the notification sound I have set in the sound profile. Even when I set it to silent, it still makes the noise.

Please help. I'm seriously thinking of switching back to the One X.

So you have the "Screen Lock Sounds" unchecked in your sound settings?

Yes, lock screen sound unchecked. And yes, notification turned off in google now...

Install notification history to see which app is making that sound. In general, most of the people found its gsam battery app that gives some sort of notification. other culprits are games.

i just fixed it. Its nfc trying to connect to a card like a busscard. My GF had the same problem. busscards or university id's use the same nfc (near field communication) system to register stuff. just try to swiping your busscard or something in front of your back camera with nfc on and it will make a sound.
If you want to turn of nfc just go to settings-more-nfc.

I had the same problem and it was driving me insane....I just downloaded a Notification History appand I think I just found the problem...Wi-Fi Networks Available Notifications...turned them off,so far so good.
