Htc one S or samsung Galaxy S3

Just wanted to post an update to my comment a while back.

Have had the phone now for a little over a month now and i still LOVE this phone. the size is perfect IMO, and with a custom rom (axiom is the one i am using most) almost all the annoyances are gone and battery life is amazing!

My big problem with this phone is the development community that it has (or doesnt have really). The devs that are working on this device, make no mistake, they are awesome, and we have a couple of really amazing roms, but... there is really only a couple. It seems like its just a LOT slow dev community than that of the S3. Again i want to reiterate that i am not downplaying the devs that we have cause seriously, they are great and have put out great work!! I just wish we had more... I am trying to learn to dev myself, but its a slow process.

Sadly there is alot less devs baking for us, however the few there are are doing a fantastic job, Trickdroid is also amazing, and MIUI has a sense based version that works very nicely.

totally agree. Trick droid is done and no new project announced yet from torx so i just cant do that one... i dont like not being able to flash something new. then you got Axiom which if i didnt love to try new roms and flash stuff i would just put this on my phone and love it cause that rom is simply amazing..... but i cant live with just one.

while there has been a lot of improvement on the AOSP front, i think there is one hurdle that they will never be able to get over and that is the quality of the pics the camera takes. not sure if its drivers that is needed for the imagesense chip or what but the camera just never impresses me in any of the AOSP roms compared to sense.

i have an opportunity to change out my one s for an s3, but i would hate to get it and not like how big it is. It seems big when i mess with it in the store.... but so did my original Evo 4G when i first got it, and i got used to that. I wish i could pay tmo $20 to rent one for a week!! lol
