HTC ONE Screen freeze anyone seen this?

Had HTC one for couple months now and quite a few times I can not use the screen it is unresponsive and I have to hit the power button to turn screen off and on and its fine.
It can happen when in home screen or in an app. Anyone seen this issue? its really the only issue I have had with the phone except the mute button is too easy to hit when on a call. Thanks and a good forum..

Sounds like a hardware defect or all the RAM was used up, hasn't happened to me w One. When I had the S4 that was a weekly occurrence

Is this by chance after its coming out of a deep sleep? (Screen has been turned off for a long period of time?) If so it might be trying to turn your radio/WiFi on? I'm not to sure my self. Just tossing out some ideas my self.

Have your reset the device?
If it still does this then try a hard reset. (Back to factory)

No the issue is just random...just the screen becomes inactive ....sometimes just a part of it ie I can scroll but sometimes i cant type in to a dialogue box...its just occasionally but several times a day

I see the same issue with my HTC one which freezes once in a while and can't even shut down.
Any help??

Hi

I am facing the same problem with my camera for stedy pictures but not with video
I tried everything so far. My big problem is that even if I try to turn off then turn on the device the problem doesn't go away.
Did you solve your problem. If yes please advice me of what to do

Hi, I have the exact same problem just now! Sometimes I can miss calls due to this. Sometimes everything works fine i.e. volume controls, see txts coming through etc but when I try and open them or try and use the device, nothing happens! Advice anyone?

I had just updated my camera on my htc one and something else from them and it's just starting freezing again. I had this problem before my system update 2 weeks ago and everything was fine but now it's started doing it again

did you ever find a solution? I have a htc one mini and often mine freezes it has been away for repair it worked well for about a week and its continued freezing, I'm not happy any solutions please
