htc one screen freeze

Few times a day my HTC one freezes unexpectedly.
I need to hold down the power button for more than one minute to restart the

Specifications:
-running apex launcher
-ram is 500mb
-running only 3 widgets
-did a virus scan

What's the solution please help?

I have this problem I cant get past security home screen sometimes it happens when the phone is switched on and sometimes after a while have to reset phone....did you solve your problem?

Been having a similar issue with MMS and Speech to Text. It freezes half way through and I have to soft reset.

May I ask what version of Android you guys are running? The latest update available? Seems software related, and should be fixed in an update when HTC notices the problem

I was wondering abotu this myself. I can wake the phone up with the power button but the screen just stops responding to touch entirely, and I can't unlock it. I have to hold the power button for about 15 seconds to reboot it entirely. I'm using the Android Revolution 9.1 ROM on Android 4.1.2.
