Think I got the poping speaker issue fix on calls. Seems wifi-calling is turned on and will override cell service. Well, the wifi at work suckth. Turned my wifi off totally...no more popping speakers.

Ahh, too bad I was hoping it was in there, thanks for the info. Did you get the OTA automatically or did you download it somewhere?

My bug is that the phone won't make me coffee In the morning. I could have sworn I saw that feature somewhere in the HTC press release.

ok, here are the major problems for me which is the reason for a phone switch:

1. This is my business phone, i need it to work for everything


2. Home and Back buttons just do not react all the time, it is painful

3. I can no longer voice text/email (well, it works about 2-5% of the time now when my EVO 3D worked about 99% of the time)

These things are just deal-breakers for me Yes, I want to love this phone... but I have 15 days to exchange, if I get a replacement, then I won't have time to exchange and will be stuck with a phone that just isn't working for me. I know the SG4 could have bugs as well and I might be exchanging one bug for another - but then at least I'll have 15 days to exchange back.

I wish I had a different outcome.. I have had HTC phones since I gave up my Palm Pre (he he).

I was walking the dog yesterday talking on the phone with the phone held up to my ear. Suddenly it switched to speakerphone for no reason and nearly caused me to go deaf. Boom sound is painful when it's held right up to your ear.

What I think happened is that the phone momentarily came away from my ear just a little bit and my cheek hit the speaker button. But this could only happen if the sensitivity of the sensor that blanks the screen when being used as a regular phone is set incorrectly.

I can't respond to emails via voice, which I (used to) do often.

Fix - great, but if I wait... then I have no possibility to exchange at all.. and have to hope it is not something that never gets fixed (i.e., Nexus previously mentioned)

error is that the voice to text just hangs, does nothing. I can hit the back button (as many times as it takes) and can try again - but it always fails. BTW - it does *not* fail on WIFI, but I am never on WIFI using it... I only tested that at a buddy's request (fellow android user, custom ROM user, like myself).

yeah, that's the only calibration I have found... under settings, language & keyboard , HTC Sense Input > Advanced > Calibration Tool

There is another calibration tool under display gestures and buttons. At the bottom called "G Sensor." Made the back and home buttons pretty responsive for me. Sorry if this has been posted already--I'm only on pg 5 of this thread and would never find this post again if I had to go back through the whole thread.

my one doesnt use any of the security features, pattern unlock and pin lock dont work, just skips them when i unlock what have i done wrong

I have 3 fairly big problems with mine:

1. in camera mode (when taking a pic), sometimes my screen flickers very rapidly.

2. multiple times a day my phone tries to force me to install Sprint default settings, which, if i accept, it forces my phone to the "out of the box" setup. i lose all my shortcuts, widgets, and added home screens.

3. in 4G, even with full signal, i have no connectivity. pandora hangs up completely, and i get page timeout errors when browsing.

When using my bluetooth headset and on a call, if I try to take a picture the phone goes crazy trying to play the camera sound and call through the phone speaker and then back to the headset.

Ok I am running into a bug or issue I can't seem to solve that makes zero sense. Might be handcent bug or issue over HTC one but it is real annoying and make the app unusable for me. Also it's such a weird issue I keep double checking to see if I am crazy. But for some reason when I type in landscape mode, handcent keeps changing my I's to u's. For example I repeatedly tried typing is and it kept automatically fixing it to us. But only when i was typing using horizontal keyboard. When I use vertical keyboard it doesn't change is to us. Also on android default messaging app I have no problem. However for some strange reason when using handcent on horizontal it keeps changing I's to u's for me. I feel stupid even typing this cause bug seems so strange. But I checked like keyboard languages and all to make sure no weird setting is causing it. And I've tried redownloading app and same issue. I also typed "is" over and over. It didn't fail that everytime in vertical layout it works fine but in horizontal it keeps changing "is" to "us".

Mine's doing this too, it really butchers all kinds of words in landscape. Incredibly annoying.

Maybe not a "bug" but an RFE - I would like to allow Facebook feeds in my BlinkFeed, but I do NOT want Facebook pics in my Gallery. Ever.

Agree 100%. If I want to see people's FB pictures, I'll go look on FB. They need to at least allow you to disable this "feature."

So, after playing with it, I found out it only happens while typing in landscape. I tried to type "this is how I type...", and it came out as "Thus us how U type...". Yes, I typed slowly and thoroughly to insure I'm typing "i" and not "u" by accident. Even stranger is how the word I'm typing (which appears in the blue box above the keyboard) becomes complete gibberish as I type, but corrects to something close to correct in the text field after I hit enter.

I have about 600 wakelocks on it today. Googled and found a thread on XDA about it on the Nexus 4. Apparently 4.2.2 helps but not completely.

I am having problems keeping the weather on my home page (blinkfeed page for now) updated. The phone shows my proper location, but displays the message "No weather data available." If I press the message I first get a blank screen saying that it is unable to pull down the weather info and brings me to the accuWeather.com screen. After I access this page the information - temperature, weather picture are displayed on my home screen. After a while, the original message of no weather data available is displayed again. I have not been able to determine what causes the phone to lose its data or updates.

All of my gps or locate my phone settings are checked, I have selected the phone to update when opened. I have spoken with Sprint technical,support, brought the phone into a Sprint store and to the Best Buy store where I bought the phone. Nobody seems to know how to keep the weather constantly updating without losing data.

Is anybody else having this problem or know how to fix it?

I am listing it under bugs because neither Sprint not Best Buy knew of a solution.
