Hi all.

I just got my HTC One, the black one, and found out that it doesn't vibrate, nor does it give the haptic feedback. I've already unchecked the one in the power saving option where it doesn't let the phone vibrate, the option to give off the haptic feedback is ticked, and also, for good measure, I've also ticked the one where it vibrates for every keyboard press. It still doesn't vibrate.

I've looked around and no one seems to have the same problem as I do. If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it. Maybe it's a bug on the 4.2.2? When I turned mine on, the update was already ready to be downloaded.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Mate,

Did you find the issue / a fix? I have the exact same problem.

Only got the phone a few days ago, power saver / vibrate on touch all in order but no haptic feedback or vibrate when it should.

Thanks.

Sadly, no. The phone got worse through continued use. After a few days of posting that question, the phone started to just heat up while I was texting. It got to a point that constantly burning my fingertips was not worth it anymore. The only thing left to do is return the phone and ever since, I haven't had any problems with the silver HTC One.

I am having this exact problem. I have the silver One and have had it 2/3 days now but it won't vibrate. Notifications are showing up fine on the tool bar and the notification light is flashing but it just won't vibrate. I use the vibrate setting and need the phone to be silent and have all the notification settings in individual apps set to vibrate but it still won't work. I have in the main settings got the vibrate option on and marked in the main setting for it to vibrate for messages etc but it just won't! Has anyone else had this problem? Do any of the legendary One geeks know how to sort it? Thanks a lot guys.

if you have put the phone on silent (the option just before vibrate when you push down on your volume button) it wont vibrate, well I dont think it will because that puts the whole phone on silent.

if youre 100% sure you have the notification options checked to vibrate, and your phone is either on ringer or vibrate and it still doesnt vibrate then go exchange it right away

Thanks. Nope, I have the phone on the vibrate option not the silent option. I just used the term silent as I cant have the phone making sounds during the day hence why I need it on vibrate!

I have the same problem but when I do a little shake I get the vibration back
I asked the guy who sold me the phone he said its a sensor problem
he all suggest that a do a phone reset, which I did, nothing changed
anyone got any solution?
