HTC One - Vibration issue

I have two apps running, Smart Vibration and Volume +. Smart Vibration lets me set different vibration patterns. Volume + lets you lock the volume rocker and change modes (sound, vibration and silent). In Volume +, I have it set to lock the volume rocker so that the ring volume and ringer mode do not change when accidentally pressing the volume rocker. The problem is that when I change the mode in Volume + to vibration mode, I cannot hear the vibration pattern that I had set in the Smart Vibration app. I only hear the stock default pattern. Any suggestions?

Perhaps un-install apps, then reinstall them, and setup again.
