After 24hours with the HTC ONE here is my quick and dirty cheat-sheet for Sprint Customers considering the switch from the EVO LTE:
Pros:
Front facing dual speakers
Build quality is as impressive as advertised
Camera much better in low lighting and more accurate overall
Sense 5.0 gives a very polished feel and quite posibly the most professional Android Skin made to date
Processing speed combined with double the RAM = Fluidity
1080P Screen, second to none
Suckiness:
No Simultaneous Voice and Data on 3G (SVDO), LTE not a problem
Degraded call quality, ear speaker is sub-par when compared directly to an EVO LTE
4G data radio is as bad as the HTC EVO LTE
No dedicated camera button
Hardware buttons for power & volume have almost no tactile feel, frustratingly bad (case solved this for me)
Menu buttons are everywhere on apps with no way to remove
Some widgets not optimized for Sense 5.0 and margins don't align properly (hint: Android Central widget)
HTC Logo replaced the home button, home button replaced multi-task button = net loss of one button for non-funtional logo
No kickstand
Upgrade cost: $200 + $36 Activation Fee + Tax =$250+
Verdict= A number of needless trade-off's combined with incremental improvements make this phone less compelling than it could have been.
Verdict after 2 Months as Daily Driver= Best phone I've ever used and looking forward to a larger screen next year. Sense is definitely headed in the right direction. Glad I made the upgrade.
