HTC Sense constantly synching?

So under the HTC Sense option in the *Accounts and Sync* section in settings, I notice that the "Sync HTC Sense" often will constantly try to sync for very long periods of time. The only way I can get it to stop would be to turn it off and then back on. I know I can just turn it off indefinitely, but I shouldn't have to. On one of the OTA updates, it said that one was a solution for this constant sync issue, but I guess it didn't seem to work, or at least all the way. I'm just afraid that it will be using too much battery, or if I turn it off that I might miss something otherwise available.

Anyone hear about a solution for this, or a potential future one from HTC since they are the ones who created it?

Mine does it too and I usually just go into sync settings and cancel that particular sync for the moment.

Has anyone been able to use the find your phone option on htcsense.com?

My first 3D didn't sync all the time. My replacement did, I'm not sure what's up.

I just set the thing to sync every 2 hours. Not sure wtf it kept doing every other minute but I'm not going to have it.

And after getting my replacement phone, it's very obvious that syncing doesn't do anything other than maybe keep your wallpaper so what's the point.

It's set by default to sync and push updates to your phone. Meaning if there's a new widget or wallpaper or ringtone or whatever else then they push it to your phone. It's obviously bugged and is syncing way too often and I'm sure it will be fixed soon. I know they iussed a fix for it last week but it apparently didn't work heh.

I have not been able to successfully find my device or use any feature on htcsense.com.
I have tried deleting my account multiple times and starting over and it never works.
Wtf is the point of this if it doesn't to find my phone.



For the constantly syncing thing, I guess you can out to sync once a day.

Yeah all that HTCsense.com stuff is completely fudged up. I finally turned the HTC sync off because it would sit there for like 20 minutes and I did not want to take any chances with it draining my battery.

The HTCsense.com features only worked for me when I first set it up, then after that I got errors when I tried to find my device, etc.

I understand this is a new device and all, but i figured this would be one thing htc wanted working right out the box. Especially since the whole htcsense.com thing was announced quite a while ago.
