HTC Sense Instagram Not Working

Hi,

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I reformatted my phone with Android 6.0 and attempted to set up Instagram via HTC Sense, but received the following error message:

{"code": 403, "error_type": "OAuthForbiddenException", "error_message": "You are not a sandbox user of this client"}

Facebook was able to reconnect, as with LinkedIn. My Instagram ID and password are correct because I was able to sign onto the app itself. I've also tried installing an older version of the Instagram app, but to no avail. At this point, I'm not sure if the issue lies with HTC or Instagram. It was working perfectly fine prior to the reformatting.

As mentioned above, Instagram will no longer work with third-party apps or services as of June 1st: Instagram made a change that stopped lots of third-party apps from working - Business Insider

There was a change in the API that ceases third-party services from working. The policy change was made a while back; however, Instagram just recently put the change into effect. Unfortunately Sense will not be able to access your IG feed. The alternative is to use the app.
