can you load up the last sync?? i got a replacement phone and i was wondering if i could just load up the sync i did before deactivating phone..and is there a way to save the apps you installed i know the market saves the paid apps but what about the free ones and i have appbrain but for some reason that doesnt have my apps in it and i synced that too

Google will save and sync all your contacts and put them on the phone, you will have to redo all your facebook stuff, as for app saving, get Astro and you can save your apps to your SD card. Install Astro on your new phone and reload your apps through that program.

The HTC sync program syncs with outlook, so re-syncing with the HTC sync program should just re-load your outlook contacts.

Not sure of google saves you free apps... but then again they are free apps. ;)

HTC syncs with Outlook? Or with Outlook Exchange?

I have a Motorola Droid - which does NOT sync with Outlook, just with Exchange. Is that different with the HTC?

htc sync did not work for my incredible, syncing to outlook 2007 in windows 7. i'm currently looking for a solution. google sync from my desktop isn't happening, not with the current sync software they are putting out for pc's.

Do I need to do something special to bring over the Google contacts?

I am using Nitro's Touchdown instead of the default mail client.

Thanks,

George
