HTC tried hard with the 10...but failed

It's the same with every device when it releases. Someone feels the need to complain. Or "join" to complain rather. Even if it is true you have owned every device since 2009. No one cares. So have I. But you know what I do when I get rid of a device. I move on. I dont return to a forum and rant. Want to know why. Because no one cares. If you really had the 10 And don't like it that's fine. It's not for everyone. But just move on to the forum with your phone. Go be happy somewhere else.

Love this phone. Had thunderbolt,Rezound, M7,M8 skipped M9 next phone might be the 11 or could be 12. Always been HTC since I put down blackberry storm 2, remember those Day's and u could say all makes have come a long way. Just so comfortable with sense, could go with Sammy and be happy but why. Only thing that ticks me about the 10 is the top speaker not working for alarms,making it not as loud as the phone ringtone what up with that?

He probably doesn't post because he doesn't want to deal with people like you. If he doesn't like a phone everyone calls him a hater. The purpose of a forum is to express an opinion. Just because his opinion differs from yours doesn't make him a hater. Get over yourself...it's just a phone. Unless you have a financial stake in HTC leave the dude alone. There's more to life than smartphones.

Exactly. Last time I checked this was a forum for HTC 10, regardless of whether someone loves the device or not.

There's a trusim people need to keep in mind, especially with regard to the highly subjective arena of personal preferences: "Nothing is so wonderful that someone somewhere won't hate it."

It's been this way since the dawn of time and it won't change anytime soon. Besides, life would be pretty boring if everyone agreed on everything.

I don't want people to agree with me, this wasn't the point of my post. It was my review based on use to provide knowledge to those looking to purchase the device of my experiences. I love how people like you have more of an agenda to shoot down any negative press on the phone you purchased than the person you claim has an agenda to criticize said device.

And because I joined today that discredits me how? I needed to join sometime didn't I? I spent the majority of my time elsewhere in other forums that have recently died down so figured id go somewhere where theres more traffic and conversations can actually go on. I don't care that the phone is loved in this forums. Does the forum state " only HTC 10 lovers allowed" ? Someone has to provide a contrasting opinion as to not allow you "lovers" to brainwash others into purchasing a device that at best, is maybe the 4th best android option right now.

Im not really a fan of the phone. What agenda are you even taking about? You gotta stop getting so upset. Others have their opinions, just like you have yours. I've been in the HTC forums for years. I've seen people give their HONEST opinions. Never have I seen someone downright bash a phone without giving credit where credit is due. The reason you have no credibility here is due to the fact that you did nothing but bash the phone and join the day of doing so. You gave nothing of what you liked. You weren't trying to come and conversate with these HTC lovers. You weren't trying to convince yourself to keep the phone. You were just posting a very biased opinion. Ladies and Gentlemen... It is clear that he doesn't like the phone... That is fine. But clearly he doesn't have the latest software, so he is only basing it on that. If he had the most up to date software, maybe he would reconsider his position on it. He is no expert on phones by any means, but no one on this forum is. We are all just people who care about our investments and sometimes like to go on here and talk about it, with like minded individuals. We all don't need to go off and start calling him a troll. What good does that really do? It is not like his opinion is so influential that it will sway all of us to ditch the phone. If people love the phone, then great. If not then hopefully they find a phone that works better for them.

Every year you'll find threads akin to this one posted by a new member in an HTC forum. It's almost a ritual. However I won't be hypocritical and say this post has a specific motive, because had the conclusion been glowing, I doubt the join date would raise any flags. Though I find it odd that a 2016 flagship has no redeeming qualities.

However, being that there's already a live thread here for users to post there first impressions, this post would have been perfect for inclusion into the discussion.

Who cares if it's my first post? Maybe I just finally felt inclined to come share my thoughts. So LG paid a random nobody on a forum to come make a post? I'm sorry but not everyone has to share you're same fandom. What I'm saying about the camera shouldn't be new. Every major YouTube reviewer and website has stated the same thing. It's much improved but still lagging way behind the other flagships. 6 Hours screen on time??? Don't make me laugh. Every reviewer claimed they were lucky to get 4:30. I've been using the HTC 10 since launch on the 18th and everyday since I've failed to get more than 4:30 of SOT. Posting your photos proves nothing. WOW you got a decent shot out of a 2016 flagship, CONGRATS! This is my opinion and its shared among many others.

I agree with you. I also have the 10 and for me, as I said before, the camera is garbage and mine exhibits all of those warts you mentioned in your original post. It's unbelievable how bad HTC fans want their phone to be really good. I used to be like them, lol. I've owned a bunch of HTC phones and they just can't tune camera hardware. I'm also on T-Mobile without the latest update, but I just find that to be an excuse. Why are we yet again waiting on another HTC update to fix camera optics? Sorry HTC fans, but not every flagship phone is always waiting on the next update to make the camera work well. Just saying! As I read the comments, it's laughable because y'all truly are blinded. LMAO!
