yep, i guess one day will be a war just because two guys from enemy countries were chat fighting over a phone... "but my phone is better than yours"... "whaaaattt??!! here it's a missile!!!"

Well, in the modern web, arguing over a phone seems to be the new norm. Smh

Well that's why I asked the question. It wasn't rhetorical. It would seem having bad signal and camera would be a deal breaker for most. What else is left aside from build quality.
Sound quality (Headphone sound through the DAC)? Battery life (which he said was wonderful)? Software skin (softer android touch, supposedly faster updates)? Software features (perhaps he likes Blinkfeed, or the new Freestyle layout where you are locked to a grid on the home screen)? Support from the company (Uh oh protection means something to some people)? Camera seems to be very important to you, and I respect that. I would just ask that you understand that may not be as important to others. Personally, I loved the M7 which was probably my favorite phone I have ever owned, even though the 4 "Ultra Pixel" camera was.... challenging.

"BREAKING NEWS: World War 3 has begun as the leaders of the major nations could not agree on which phone is the best."

see? this is a peacemaker who knows how to choose the right words to avoid a conflict... i am sure he is the kind of guy who breaks the fights between his kids, or his wife and mother-in-law, or uncle rick and the neighbor... the world would be a better place with more people like you, sir

(with all due respect to POTUS) "but Mr Obama, you use a blackberry? that's so republican"... "ok, here it's another missile for your country too"

hahaha... at the white-house-and-iphone-forever-together forum: "what? if he doesn't use an iphone he must be a hater, how can he runs the country's economy if he doesn't have a phone with home button?"

And someone would go to a forum and tell him how dumb his phone choice is

hahaha sorry OP for hijacking your thread... enough with the jokes, let's get back to business... so OP, you didn't like the htc 10...

To be on topic for one minute, I think the biggest thing that some people got worked up over was the fact some people have to list every single thing they think is terrible about something, then tell others that they are wrong, or soft in the head if they aren't bothered by the same alleged problems. There seems to be a lot of people that feel the need to make it this big show that they are unhappy with their purchase and will be returning it and they can't believe you aren't doing the same. It's like people that loudly announce that they're deleting their facebook page. Just do it. It doesn't need to be such a performance. There are good and bads about every single phone ever created. I've had the phone for 2 weeks. I haven't experienced the issues that some people have. I think the camera is perfectly fine. Does it take pics as good as my Nikon DSLR? Nope, I wasn't expecting it to. Does it take better photos than the M8 I upgraded from? Absolutely. My wifi works great and the only slight issue I had about my bluetooth not connecting automatically so I had to take 5 seconds and connect it, seems to have worked itself out and it connects automatically, every time. I just disagree with hard and fast statements like "everything about this phone is crap" because it's just not a true statement.

I agree. The response to my original post was the opposite of youre suggesting. I never once told people they should return it, rather it was everyone else who cannot believe I was having problems that they weren't they proceeded to call me a troll because I dared to insult their device. Grow up people.

I wasn't talking about you specifically, it was more a mix of people that I've seen on here. At the end of the day it's just a phone. It's a silly thing to act like it's a personal attack that someone might be unhappy with something that you enjoy. It's immature to resort to that.

In all of honesty, however, the title of the thread does make the thread seem way more negative than it actually is.

Anyone can interpret a title in any way. Fans of the 10 will think its a troll, and ones who don't like it will think its just fine.

IMO, something along the lines of "I actually don't like the HTC 10. Here's why" might be more fitting.

I remember Andrew Martonik doing a similar post on the LG G4 last year and why he doesn't really like it. A fair amount of people did roast him. Funny enough, it was my daily at the time and I actually AGREED with him on some points.

And some of the comments were hilarious. You missed out on it.

Now that's not exactly true. You wrote the title as if were a fact, not your opinion. Had you titled it "I Think HTC Tried with the 10....But Failed", that shows it's your feelings. While your feelings about the phone might be legitimate, I can't help but feel you also hoped to rabble rouse a bit and stir up some controversy. Which you have done, very effectively I might add.
