May I respectfully disagree? Your tone in the original post, while perhaps unintentional, was very condescending to people who purchased the phone. This implies that people who enjoy the phone are not comparing it with an unbiased eye towards other phones, whereas you are. I have owned several different models of phones, my wife has an S6 and my mother-in-law has an S7, and I currently have a Note 5 with intentions to JUMP to an HTC 10. I am perfectly aware of the capabilities and strong points of other phones, and I prefer what the HTC 10 offers. To suggest that I don't only because I want an HTC phone is both untrue and condescending. A similar tone here. And, again, why do I care which phone is at the "top of the Android phones on the market?" Almost every review I have read puts the 10 among the top 3. So, again, perhaps you didn't intend it, but you are again suggesting here that people who are purchasing the 10 are not making informed decisions and not taking all factors into consideration. And here is where you tell people who perhaps are just as knowledgeable as you not to buy the phone. As has been mentioned elsewhere, the reviews on the G5 were not kind this year. Can you really not accept the idea that perhaps people HAVE compared the 10 to the G5 and prefer the 10 more? While you are certainly entitled to your opinion that the 10 is not the phone for you and the G5 is, give the users on Android Central a little credit that they have as much information as you do, and have made different choices based on different priorities. Any attacks on you made in this thread are because, as outlined above, while maybe not intentional your tone was very combative and dismissive of other people's views. So it is not entirely surprising when you get the same dismissive tone in return. I don't condone it, but at least I understand it. If you would learn to make your language a little more accepting of differing viewpoints then I think you would find you could engage more in a conversation as opposed to an argument. Just my 2 cents.
