HTC U11: 100 GB Google Drive storage: 2 years or not time limited?

Anyone know? Some sites mention the Google storage. On my M8 it expired after 2 years.

Sprint HTC U11 I can confirm does not come with 100GB Google Drive storage. Bummer.
