Hi guys

My u11 seems to be a little too much warm on the back (and i find it annoying thinking about how much i paid for it) .

Doing nothing, with wifi connection on (nothing in download and no app in the background) cpu temp app reports for the cpu, never less than 39 degress, cpu usage floats between 9 and 15% and battery temp is 39-40 degrees.
Playing youtube the cpu temp raises to 41-43. Room temp is around 26 degrees.

Are those normal temps ? or i should consider to send it back to amazon for a replacement

That's a little too warm if you really aren't running anything at all. Is this when on a charger and charging; on a charger but not charging (because you're already fully charged); not connected to a charger at all?

You may have a defective device, but I would lean towards something happening in the background, even though you may not be aware of it. Do you have GSam installed? It gives some pretty detailed information, though it can't separate CPU usage by individual apps anymore (but that's an Android thing that, I think, started with Nougat).

First I'd try wiping the cache. Then a factory reset. Especially since you may be sending it back anyways. What's it gonna hurt? Then, final option being, sending it back.

Sorry guys i'm aswering with a different nickname i just forgot my password lol
So i did a factory reset and things seem to go better playing youtube it goes up till 38 and with only cpu temp opened i have 36-37 .

Using the camera for around 1min (making some photos) i've seen that the temp goest till 50, feeling hot in the back ..at least in this case you get the same raising temperature or i still have problems lol

BTW the temps are referred to the phone not in charging and yes i use spiegl cover.

That doesn't sound normal. My phone runs cool whatever I do, using the camera, etc. It may get slightly warm, but not enough to even feel it through my Spigen slim case.
