HTC unlocked upgrade to marshmallow

HI All

Anyone experiencing update issues
I got the update yesterday, and after an hour a red ! appeared and the screens flip between the HTC boot screen and the red !
HTC saying I should send back the phone, tried to reboot but the same issue continues,
Any solutions?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to boot into Recovery and wipe the cache partition? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10672

Hi

I can boot into to recovery, but when it restarts it goes back into the loop i.e. htc screen followed by the red !

Are you able to wipe the cache partition successfully, or can you not even get to that step?

cant get to that step...

Did the update actually finish successfully, or did it start doing that in the middle of the update process?

You should probably listen to HTC and get a replacement, if they're offering one.
