Hey everyone I've been scouring the internet for the last view months since initially attempted to root my admittedly out of date htc view. A friend gave it to me in exchange for an old comp I built. I attempted through revolutionary to root, went through HTC and unlocked my device, continued to try and root it but found no proper software that worked to do so. Even tried something called mulitool which was pretty cool, but didn't get the job done. After a time I gave up on rooting, and my tablet powered down and I found myself stuck at the recovery screen. None of the options for clear storage, factory reset, or anything else proved fruitful. I removed my sd and was able to boot up fine. This was months ago. Now I'm having a similar problem only now even without SD card it's in a boot cycle where it boots to recovery for 30 seconds or so and shuts down, then back to recovery and like this ad infintum. I've been searching for how I could resolve this, but I cannot seem to make any headway. I would greatly appreciate anyone who might have some suggestions,

my screen reads:

relocked
**security warning
express pvt ship s on rl
microp 0656
hdboot 1.14 0005
radio 1.05.01
eMMC-boot

Anything else I can provide to help anyone help me please let me know, and thank you so much in advance.

Find and use the ruu to restore your device. Should work well and be extremely easy.

do you happen to know where I can find it, I'm pretty unsure as to which files to use. Once I obtain that RUU do i use fastboot to restore it?

thank you for the response, i'm working here for the next 9 hrs but will be back after that, any help you'd provide is extremely appreciated!

RUU_SuperSonic_GB_Sprint_WWE_4.24.651.1_Radio_2.15 .00.05.02_NV_2.15_release_199233_signed is this the proper file name?

yea everywhere i'm looking for it says 'page not found' etc. If you happen to know where I can find it that would be awesome. And just basically how I push it onto the android. Thanks in advance, again I'm now headed to work.

well looking for the RUU proved completely pointless because this thing is so outdated. Thanks for ignoring all requests for help and provided the most bare answer one could. I ended up finding a solution anyway, unrEVOked had the RUU apparentlly or did something, my device was just restored. I will be sure to never allow it to power all the way down, and same this unrEVOked program because it saved my hide.

Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you fast enough. I have a full time job, side work that I do and a family. Sometimes I'm unable to research things and get back in a timely manner.
I am glad you found the ruu and were able to restore the device. I'd recommend keeping that around just in case.

I didn't mean it to offend. Just frustrated and as you responded and were around I figured you;d have seen what I wrote. That was rude, and I'm sorry to presume anything.
