Anyone else having problems with the HTC weather widget telling you ur in Armenia even when gps says I'm where I'm supposed to be? I have an HTC evo4g, no custom time, just stock froyo update.

I had this happen on my Eris a while back. I don't remember what I did specifically but I know I tried a bunch of different things.

Try messing with the location settings and clearing cache/data

At least you were where yours got stuck. Mine has me in my actual location then I teleport to LaPaz Bolivia or Baja California then I teleport to Riverside, California then I ALWAYS ended up in Mesa, Arizona! I called Customer Support and they replaced my brand new HTC One with a refurbished HTC One. I turned on the replacement phone, did the set-up, and guess where I supposedly am!?! Yep, Mesa, Arizona! However, unlike my last phone which always did it, except when I was immediately near a T-Mobile store. Well, the refurbished phone will show my actual location when it is on 4G, but Wi-Fi and 4G LTE put me in Mesa, Arizona. Not sure what is the issue, but it cannot be "a software issue from the manufacturer" because wouldn't it have done this from the moment we had it. I had about 30-45 days of a perfect phone out of my 4 months of service. So, I reported this to Customer Service and all they can say is they found all of these complaints...so I am not crazy, but hopefully HTC will develop a fix for it. So, I am calling HTC tomorrow and if it is not fixable...I think I will switch to the Samsung Galaxy 4 that I was comparing the HTC One to. Or I may go for the Note III or Galaxy 5 that just came out!

I tried that with Customer Support 2 times and did a master rest...nothing worked. That's why they sent me the replacement phone.
