a) WhatsApp notifications
WhatsApp notifications are HUGE on my lock screen. I would like to see my messages when they come but don't want it to fill 1/3 of a big screen...
I do not seem to be able to get the normal ones (although I have seen on my friends other Huawei phones (MATE and HONOR) they show in the normal notification size (a la iPhone) - If someone could guide me to that setting I would be v grateful.
Since I could not get the notifications to get smaller I wanted to just turn notifications off from lock screen - But it doesn't work?? They still appear and even light up the screen?
In my settings I have the following:
under Settings--> Notifications --> Lock screen notifications (Do Not Show)
under Settings--> Notifications --> More notification Settings -- the notification turns on screen -- OFF
As for WhatsApp notifications specifically
under Settings--> Notifications --> Under apps --> WhatsApp --> message notifications:
Lock screen notifications as do not show
Banners is allowed, b/c I would like to see when I get a msg whilst using the phone
And yet... I still receive them appearing giant on my lock screen.'
In a desperate attempt I even switched all notifications off in whatsapp but yet they still show.....
b) it does not always show when I get incoming calls (1/4 times it shows)
It only shows as a notification of a missed call.
I have all notifications ON under Call Management and Incoming Calls.......... (and lock screen notifications as show)
Can someone guide me to solve this?
