Huawei Mate 20 Pro: notifications disappear after unlocking the screen

Hi, hoping you can help me with a little annoying detail re Huawei notifications on lock screen. I was using S8 before and i would see all notifications on lock screen (icon, no content), and they would stay there even after unlocking and locking the phone again (if the message was not read and the notification not dismissed). Anyone knows how to enable this in Mate 20 pro?

Yeh i just came from the Note 9, dont think you can change it, think it's another emui "feature" lol. Ive gotten used to it now but would prefer notifications to stay on lockscreen until read.
