Huawei P30 fingerprint icon is showing up on the idle phone screen

Mine replacement P30 still does this, maybe not quite as much as the first one though. I have still not removed the screen protector so no idea if that will help. Not using the P30 right now so have sent an email to Huawei and will see what happens.
