Huawei p9 fastboot problem. Need help!

Hey guys.
I've recently purchased a huawei p9 and want root access but I can't get past the first step.

I'm supposed to put my phone into fastboot mode, so that I can install TWRP. But when I put the phone in fastboot mode, it tells me to connect the phone to hisuite on my computer which it is already connected to but hisuite on the computer isn't registering that the phone is connected so I can't continue to install TWRP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

Hi, have you installed the necessary drivers on the computer to recognise the phone?
