Huge Launcher Pro Update

Can anyone tell me how LP runs on the Galaxy Tab. I am interested in this just want to make sure I won't have any issues with it.

Thanks

We need a LP favorite transition poll.

Mine are None (should be called Horizontal or Linear) and Rotate.

Launcherpro runs great on the galaxy tab. No issues whatsoever. I like the scale transition on it.

also, a big reason for his rewrite is to make it be even better on tablets as well as phones, so look out for that in the upcoming weeks. I'm more excited about that then I am gingerbread.

I've been getting a lot of force closes with LP lately (running stock N1 with froyo). This has just started to happen within the last week. Anyone else experiencing this?

btw... A few force closes a day is not enough to switch back to another launcher. LP is sweet.
Same deal here - running Quantum 2.7 on Epic4G. I agree with canonfaz that a few force closes a day is not enough to make me switch back and I wonder if LauncherPro isn't so compatible w/ my ROM? Could all be my fault in the end as I'm relatively new to Android (n00b).

what is the cube transition?

He add transition effects for when your sliding from one screen to another. It's in the settings.

The cubed effect makes it look like the screens are superimposed on the faces of a cube. Like a rubik's cube being rotated.

Where do I find the settings? I am kind of new to LP. I want to try this transitions.

Menu --> Preferences --> Homescreen Settings --> Transition Effects.

ok, i have pref/homescreen settings/then I see homescreen grid half way down. where is the transition effects?

top to bottom

number of screens
default screen
enable trackball scrolling
enable virtual looping

halfway down is the heading homescreen grid
number of columns
number of rows
auto-fit item

Does anyone know when the new update is rolling out? Not the one we just received last week, but the revamped lpp?
