Hulu plus app for Optimus -stream over data connection-

Installed twiceon OV. It some time works but I get force close alot. Running bumblebee rom

Worked on the very first try very nice stuff thanks so much OP. I just wish the volume control would get louder then it does. Even at max using the internal speaker it isn't loud enough to my liking. It seems to be that way depending on the application. I can hear it alright but would like it a bit louder. Is there any mod to force your speaker a bit louder without blowing it up lol.

So I am doing the trial to check it out. Is it just the phone that still shows the ads even with a plus account or does it do it on the website too j/c.

you still get ads when watching something with a plus account on the website (I've had mine for a month or so now, started off with the free 3-week trial for connecting my facebook to it).

Hulu+ really just gives you the ability to watch a ton of more shows that are on Hulu then normal (like for example you can watch the entire series run of Family Guy instead of just the last 5 episodes), and the ability to watch them in more places then just your web browser.

But for $8/month, I am definitely getting my money's worth haha (I don't have cable, just OTA antenna)

Ya I don't pay for satellite or cable either. For 8 I will probably keep it.

before I got the free trial I didn't see the point to Hulu+, I always watched my shows through other means *cough cough*

but now that I have it, I'm like psh...it's $8 a month. I'm keeping it. lol

It took me a couple tries, and then I decided to do a reboot after copying the files into the TB folder (like another member did) and poof! it worked. Got it running as we speak. Now I don't even have to get out of bed to turn my desktop on to watch my shows! haha

Here's a little tip, when it installs Hulu and asks if you want to launch it, click cancel. Otherwise it will launch the app before the backup data has been installed. Wait for Titanium to state it's completed restoring the app *AND* data, then launch Hulu.

This solved the device is not supported issue for me :)

The DropBox link for the Hulu files seems to be expired. Anybody know where to get these files or if there is a newer method to stream Hulu on the Optimus V?

I second this request. I had the files on my computer but now I dunno what happened to them :(

I realize i'm a bit late on this thread but since I had issue i thought my experince might help someone so..... ;)

I finally got this working on my optimus v with the latest IHO. I had to install the hulu apk from the backup and then reboot to get the backup to show up in titanium to be albe to restore it however. The device unsupported is gone, and the video streams perfectly!

Big thanks to the OP!

How long Hd does it usually take for titanium backup to restore the data?

Edit: never mind it works, now I should think about getting a hulu+ account
