Hyperion Extended Battery

I haven't even bought a standard backup battery and charging cradle yet but this looks pretty good for extra long days or when you absolutely know you're going to be pushing the camera. I'll get something before its all said and done.

Unless they were all manufactured in the same location (China) and has a different label on them.
If I'm not mistaken, there's not very many Li-ion cell manufactures, so it's likely many of these different brands are getting the same cells.

I don't think so. There are a lot of random extended batteries for the V20 that looks the same... Unless they were all manufactured in the same location (China) and has a different label on them.

The covers look identical but they could have cloned them. Could be someone just buying them wholesale and private labeling

It doesn't have the praise that Hyperion does on Amazon. I'll see what I decide when I actually purchase one.

I've had the Perfine battery for over a month now and it performs just great. I'm very satisfied. I'm getting about 2 days of use per charge, with moderate to very heavy use (much of it on the TMO network; the rest on wifi). I can recommend it without question. The backs have a good feel, too.

How was it doing the initial charges and how long did it take you to drain it?

It took almost two days to run the battery down to about 5%, before I recharged it the first couple of times. In fact, I used to do extra unnecessary things to try to run it down before recharging. When I first got it, I put it on charge immediately, even though it came with about 50% charge, and didn't use it until it was fully charged + a couple of hours. And I did this the first couple of charges. Since the "breakin period," I'm still getting two days of use.

I wish LG would make a rechargeable back cover. I really don't need more battery time. Mine is fine

I wonder if the cover they are making for Hyperion will fit Perfine

The Perfine is now the same price as Hyperion and it comes with two backs.

Only 6 month warranty while Hyperion is 2 years.
