Hello,
I accidentally stopped “"Phone and Messaging Storage" system app and now I don’t know how to enable this app again. Everything is greyed out, and I can’t start this app. Can anybody help me ? My phone is Sony XZ1 running on android 8.0 .

Welcome to Android Central! If you force stop an app, it will typically restart on its own when it's needed. If you were to get a call and the caller left a message, the Phone and Messaging Storage app should restart on its own.

Hello,
Phone and messages works normally. I receive calls and sms . And outgoing calls and outgoing sms also works. But this "Phone and Messaging Storage" system app does not start after reboot my phone (i rebooted many times). I tried to turn off phone for 2 hours...The same...this app does not start. i can't enable this app, because " enable" button is grey and inactive...it's time to do factory reset...I have no other options , i think...

Are you noticing any issues with storage of voicemails or text messages? If not, then a factory reset probably isn't necessary. I'd only go that far if you're actually having problems with those functions.
