I am locked out of my LG G3 - no PIN, no WIFI. IS there a way to bypass this without a master reset?

locked out of our LG G3 - no PIN, no WIFI

my son has an LG G3 through t mobile. His phone locked him out somehow in his pocket. It asks for a PIN and google account and password. He said he never set a PIN, and he entered his gmail account info, but it will not go through because he had his WIFI turned off before it locked so now it cant connect. is there a way to bypass this somehow without a master reset? most of his info will be lost if he has to reset.

By master reset, do you mean factory reset?

Does it ask for the pin first or asks for both at the same time?

Assuming that because he's Wi-Fi is off, he's data is also turned off.

Does he have to put in a password, code, pattern or pin to access his device? (Before this happened)
