AC Question

I am looking to purchase a used Nexus 7 (2013) that has updated to lollipop 5.1...

States it is in mint condition, no scratches for $50. What things do I need to check for when buying used? Or is this a bad deal? Thanks

is this ebay, amazon, craigslist? are you paying cash, credit card, paypal?
missing some info here to give you a good answer.

Be sure it's a 2013, try to get photo or video of it displaying 5.1.1 as (hopeful) evidence that it's not bricked. Make payment with something that helps protect you (paypal, credit card, etc).

First it is a tablet, not a phone. 2nd, even my older 2012 Nexus 7 from Google was updated with Lollipop before my 2013! They both auto updated to 5.1.1 on the same day. So you need more info. A friend of mine just bought an Asus some-thing-or-other (they have several models) Nexus 7 (2013) from Newegg and although it was reconditioned, and appeared to work perfect if every way, we discovered a bad pin connector when she tried to transfer files from her desktop to her tablet. They replaced it no problem. That one was about 100 bucks.
